    THEATRE degree with concentrations

    Performance-Acting and Directing
    Musical Theatre- including vocals and dance
    Design-Scenic, Lighting, Costume, Sound
    Marketing and Public Relations
    Technical Production
    Sound Production
    Production and Company Management
    Stage Management
    Theatre Education        

    THEATRE SCHOLARSHIPS

    Actors—
    Two contrasting monologues

    Singers—
    Ballad and up tempo song (preferably from musical theatre ) Bring accompaniment on tape/CD

    Technicians/Designers—
    Portfolio materials

    Auditionees are encouraged to showcase in all areas that apply to them. Strong vocalists are encouraged to also audition in the Long School of Music for performance ensembles that could carry smaller scholarship awards.

    Prior to the audition send in:

    -Scholarship Audition Information Form
    -Two letters of recommendation
    -Resume
    -Headshot or photo
    -One page personal statement about choosing this major, future plans, and commitment to study.
    -Transcript-unofficial is fine

    Leadership
    Requirements:

     
    3.0 GPA, 22  ACT, or 1030 SAT
    Amounts vary; Awarded through interview process;
    January 15 deadline of student’s senior year

    Academic
           

    MILLENIUM - 3.7 GPA, 31 ACT/1380 SAT or National Merit Finalist  
                         4 years-Full Tuition, Room, and Board

    CHANCELLOR’S - 3.5 GPA, 27  ACT or 1220  SAT
                               4 years-Full Tuition

                 
    Trojan Opportunity

    3.0 GPA
    Must be from out of state; Amounts vary; March 1 deadline
